The newest one, the PiCar-X, had a couple of small issues (maybe I messed up?) but the support team at SunFounder sorted them out fast and in a professional manner. I’d definitely consider using SunFounder products again...

The quality of these products is solid, plus there's a wealth of info and documentation available online. I've picked up a bunch of sunfounder items and have never run into problems since they provide affordable parts for all kinds of electronic hobbyists and engineers.

Had a really bad time with Sunfounder. The parts for the PI car were defective, and when I reached out for a replacement, they just ignored me. My 12-year-old spent 5 hours putting it together and programming it, only to find out the part was broken. It was heartbreaking to see my son in tears, and still no support from the company. Eventually, Amazon stepped in and gave us a refund. I’m definitely not buying from another sketchy manufacturer from the East.

This is a pretty good set of solid-state electronics designed for the Raspberry Pi Pico. The kit comes with online tutorials and sample code to help you get started with programming in the physical world. You’ll find example code for both MicroPython and Arduino (C#) included. This marks my third kit related to RasPi from SunFounder. I’m giving it four stars because sometimes the language translations can be a bit tricky to follow.
